Abstract:
Over the years many types of vertical transportation systems were made. In order to choose one of them according to your purpose, you must know that Elevators can be separated in two groups – by their use and by their lift mechanisms. In our chapters, we will introduce a background on elevators with discussion the types of elevators in general, with talking about the hydraulic and traction types in details. Also, we will submit the advantage and disadvantage for each.
